CAB x TAKA COLLECTION
We had the honor of teaming up with skateboarding icon, Steve Caballero and freestyle motocross legend, Taka Higashino for a one-of-a-kind collaboration that celebrates art, riding and culture.

As part of the collaboration, Steve invited us into his home for one of his legendary art nights — a creative tradition he routinely hosts. Surrounded by paint, canvases and good company, we got a little glimpse into his art process firsthand.
Steve Caballero drew this original design inspired by his love and connection to the Japanese culture. Having Taka Higashino on the project was the ultimate no brainer as his Japanese roots tie perfectly into Steve’s design, giving the artwork a cultural depth and energy that resonates beyond just skate and moto.
We took the collaboration to Pala Raceway for its first official reveal. While Steve is best known as a legendary skater, the last several years he's taken up motocross as a hobby. Together, Steve and Taka spent the day ripping laps and having a good ol' time.
We featured the original artwork on a limited edition batch of t-shirts, then created a pattern for our well-loved and known seat covers and bar bags. Each custom seat cover is hand cut & sewn at our headquarters in San Diego and all pieces were limited edition products available until we sold out.
To celebrate the collection, we hosted a release party — complete with good vibes, good people, and to showcase everything we built together.

CAB x TAKA COLLAB VIDEO
Our in-house media crüe documented the entire process — from design to production — capturing the story in a video that shows the collaboration in full. This video was premiered during the release party and now here for your viewing pleasure.
This project wasn’t just about releasing another pattern. It was about connecting worlds: skateboarding + moto with two legends who’ve inspired generations to not only push harder, but to live fully.
